Wooden play structure for children

Avec cette petite cabane pour enfants à l’orée de la forêt, l’idée est de revisiter la maison primitive du point de vue de l’enfant. Quel genre de maison aurions-nous souhaité dans notre enfance ?
Probablement une maison « belvédère », surélevée pour observer l’environnement lointain tout en essayant de jouer avec ses singularités. La cabane repose sur une structure plus petite, créant un sentiment de fragilité accentué par la simplicité et la légèreté de l’ensemble. Contrastant avec la verticalité de ce signal dans le paysage, une plateforme en contrebas de la maison s’avance perpendiculairement à la pente naturelle du sol, offrant un espace de jeu et de repos aux allures de hamac suspendu.
Derrière ce petit exercice de composition, l’objectif premier du bureau est de réinvestir la dimension spontanée et ludique du geste architectural.
With this little tree house for children on the edge of the forest, the idea is to revisit the primitive house from the child’s point of view. What kind of house would we have wished for as children?
Probably a « belvedere » house, elevated to observe the distant environment while trying to play with its singularities. The house rests on a smaller structure, creating a feeling of fragility accentuated by the simplicity and lightness of the whole. Contrasting with the verticality of this landmark in the landscape, a platform below the house juts out at right angles to the natural ground slope, offering a space for playing and resting that looks like a suspended hamac.
Behind this little exercise in composition, the office’s primary objective is to reinvest the spontaneous, playful dimension of the architectural gesture.
